San Francisco State University recognizes that sustained research, scholarly, and creative activity (RSCA) are essential to its academic mission. In order to maintain the .2 release/semester currently provided to most faculty, SFSU faculty must file an accountability report following these guidelines. Note that the fall 2026 deadline for applications is September 18.
