Sabbatical Leave with Pay

Sabbatical leaves may be granted for one semester with full pay; or for two semesters with half pay. The current collective bargaining agreement (Article 27) has changed the way in which academic year, half pay applications are evaluated. For this reason, if a faculty member receives an academic year, half pay sabbatical, they cannot change to a one semester, full pay sabbatical.

Application Deadline is October 2, 2023.

Applications will be submitted in Interfolio.  To request an application file, please inform Faculty Affairs by submitting your information in the following link: Sabbatical Application File Request (Qualtrics).   Once the sabbatical application case file has been created, faculty will receive an email notification and access link.

Difference in Pay Leaves

Difference in Pay leaves may be granted for one or two semesters at a difference in pay between the recipient's salary for each leave semester and the salary of an instructor. In case of a Fall 2022 Difference in Pay, the pay warrant for August 2022 (received on September 1, 2022) will reflect the reduced monthly salary amount.

Application Deadline is October 2, 2023.

Applications will be submitted in Interfolio.  To request an application file, please inform Faculty Affairs by submitting your information in the following link: Difference in Pay Application File Request (Qualtrics).   Once the DIP application case file has been created, faculty will receive an email notification and access link.
