Take Advantage of Sf State's Fee Waiver & Reduction Program.

The fee waiver program provides an opportunity for eligible employees to take courses at a California State University (CSU) campus for career development; to attain a credential, undergraduate or graduate degree to enhance current job-related skills.

Job-Related Training: A job-related course is taken for the purpose of improving

  • The level of skill needed to perform existing duties and responsibilities or
  • Acquiring additional skills needed to perform new assigned duties and responsibilities.

If you are interested in a job-related course, please submit a service request through Human Resources to initiate your job-related admissions application.

Eligible employees must submit the approved employee fee waiver form to the Human Resources Benefits office by the established deadline date for each semester. Eligible employees may also transfer their fee waiver benefit to a spouse or dependent child by submitting a completed dependent fee waiver form (PDF).
