The Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development is part of San Francisco State University's Division of Academic Affairs. As the centralized resource center for all faculty-related programs and support services, we provide administrative support to faculty members at every stage in their career at SF State, from the hiring process to retirement. We strive to cultivate faculty resiliency and promote an inclusive and welcoming faculty culture.

SF State's Center for Equity and Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CEETL) is within the Office of Faculty Affairs. CEETL offers faculty development programming that addresses foundational and specialized teaching and learning theory and practices, with a focus on anti-racism, social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching and learning.
