Housing

Make SF State your home. Adjacent to the main campus, faculty can pick from two housing options — high-rise apartments or townhouses. A walking distance to the campus and its resources, plus the chance to grow a relationship with other faculty outside the campus, the housing options are ideal for new faculty.   Visit the Employee & Family Housing page for more information.

Plus, when a new tenure track faculty member is hired from outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, the Budget Office provides support for the new employee's household goods move. An allocation is provided by the Vice President of Academic Affairs to cover a portion of the cost of moving household goods to the new residence. For more info, please visit Academic Resources
