Newly hired lecturer faculty are especially encouraged to attend the Highlight Session.

Morning Reception, University Opening Convocation: Hosted by the Academic Senate and Office of the President

Meet and greet campus colleagues, visit tables to learn about campus events, programs, and opportunities. Contribute food and toiletries to our Associated Students Basic Needs Pantry. Light breakfast provided for those who attend, no need to register.

University Opening Convocation: Hosted by the Academic Senate and Office of the President

Join your SF State colleagues for a celebration of the start of a new academic year, hear from campus leaders about challenges and opportunities in the coming year and meet the University’s new faculty, staff and campus leadership. This event will also be livestreamed; check the Academic Senate website for more information. No need to register.
